The IU Police Department is currently searching for a person of interest involved in an ongoing investigation of a theft which took place at the Bill Garrett Fieldhouse. IUPD Public Safety Public Information Officer Hannah Skibba confirmed the suspect was identified via camera footage at the Fieldhouse.
On November 7, officers took the theft report from an IU student who stated that their Apple AirPod Max headphones had been stolen while they were at the Fieldhouse. Security camera footage identified an adult white male who appeared to have been carrying the headphones in hand as they left the facility, making them a top suspect in the case.
