Porter Robinson and Madeon - Shelter Tour at the Pavilion 11/9

Electronic musicians Porter Robinson and Hugo Leclercq (Madeon) announced a dual tour a few months ago that goes hand-in-hand with the release of their new song "Shelter". This tour is bringing them to the east and west coasts of the United States with several stops in between, and this Wednesday (November 9th) you can catch them at the Pavilion at Pan Am in Indianapolis.

Porter Robinson released his first studio album, "Worlds", in 2014, featuring the single "Sad Machine" which uses his own backing vocals as well as sounds from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Madeon's first studio album, "Adventure", was released in 2015 and features musicians such as Mark Foster (of Foster the People), Charli XCX, and Passion Pit.

This Wednesday's Shelter Tour stop will also include performances by Danger and Robotaki. Tickets are still on sale, and you can buy them here! You can also check out the event page on Facebook.

Before the show, definitely check out the animation that was released for "Shelter", which tells the story of 17-year old Rin and her life in a futuristic simulation. The story was written by Porter Robinson and the video was animated by A-1 Pictures.

Be on the lookout for an exclusive review following the show and be sure to follow WIUX on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
