Create the Perfected Cover Band Set List Part 1

Cover bands are awesome! You get to hear all of the awesome songs from bands that either would cost a fortune to see, bands that are disbanded or bands that are no longer alive.
We at WIUX are here to give you all the songs you might want in a perfect cover band set list.

 

Baha Men - "Who Let the Dogs Out"

Formed in the late 70's this world groove band hails from the Bahamas and is most well known for their 2000 cover of Anslem Douglas' "Who Let the Dogs Out" which won the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for favorite song. It was many seven-year-old's favorite song in 2000, so 15 years later these kids are now hitting the bar scene.


The Roamantics - "What I Like About You"

While this might be a one hit wonder from their 1980's self titled debut album, it has lasted decades, including being on the soundtrack of Shrek 2 (2004).


Fall Out Boy - "Sugar We're Going Down"
Fall Out Boy is known for many things including having track titles being entire sentences.


Pat Benatar - "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"

Written by Canadian singer/songwriter Eddie Schwartz, but performed by the American Pet Benatar, this hit #9 on the Billboard top 100.



Destiny's Child - "Say My Name"

Formed in 1990, the youth of the day will know Destiny's Child especially form being the spring board for Beyonce's career.

Lustra - "Scotty Doesn't Know"

Written for the 2004 film Eurotrip. Youth adventures abound.


Stevie Wonder - "Superstition"

Got the spooks?



Smash Mouth - "All Star"

Formed in 1994, they are arguably one of the darlings from the 90's, and are been featured on the Shrek soundtrack. Their classic hit "All Star" came out in 1999.


blink 182 - "All The Small Things"

This song is from their third album Enema of the State and is rumoured to be composed for both guitarist Tom DeLonge's girlfriend and also The Ramones.



Rolling Stones - "Honky Tonk Women"

There are many good Rolling Stones songs, perfect to get any crowd going. But this is one of the great ones.



Steppenwolf - "Magic Carpet Ride"

It might not be their biggest hit, "Born to Be Wild", but it is definitely the one to sing along to.


Maroon 5 - "This Love"

Many teens have fallen in love to this 2002 pop song.
