We’re excited to announce Sirius Blvck and Oreo Jones as the third act of this year’s Culture Shock lineup, joining locals Vista Kid Cruiser and Dietrich Jon. The pair of Indianapolis rappers have established themselves as the front-runners of the rising Indiana rap scene (check out FLACO too).
Sirius Blvck and Oreo Jones have already made an impact on 2015, and it’s only February. Sirius Blvck’s “Light In The Attic” is a fantastic collection of tracks produced by frequent collaborator Bones of Ghost, and Oreo Jones’ is getting ready to release his highly anticipated album, “Cash 4 Gold”. The pair of artists caught my attention at The Bishop earlier this year when they opened for Shabazz Palaces, performing a standout track that sampled “Chamber of Reflection” from last year’s headliner Mac Demarco. Their live set is nothing short of great. Here’s another sample of what’s to come, featuring Sirius and Oreo trade verses on “Tribe Quest” off Blvck’s album.
