Cults will be performing at the Bluebird on Feb. 13. Doors will open at 8 p.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
The New York based duo, composed of guitarist Brian Oblivion and singer Madeline Follin, first gained recognition in 2011 with the release of their self-titled album Cults. The duo’s show at the Bluebird marks the second stop on their 2014 tour to promote their sophomore album Static. Their atmospheric pop sound, infused with a 1960’s and 70’s vibe, will remind fans of Best Coast’s echoing lyrics and Sleigh Bell’s synth-heavy riffs.
