Ne-Hi for President

After their first self-titled album in 2014, the Manic Static-signed band released a couple of singles in 2015. The foursome has nailed the summer infused indie-rock sound that the younger generation cannot get enough of.

Band members Alex Otake, James Weir, Jason Balla and Mikey Wells all came together to play music for a movie created by a friend in 2013, and decided that the sound was solid enough to make a band, and thus, Ne-Hi was born. Since then, the group has toured the Midwest and the East Coast.

Their last single “Buried on the Moon," released in May of 2016, has shot up in their rankings, and their sound is only improving. Not only that, but the high energy of their shows has never died, promising a fun and spirited show this Friday.

Doors are at 7 p.m. at Serendipity Bar. This is an 18+ event, so be sure to bring an ID. Pre-sale tickets are $7 and can be purchased here to be picked up at the station house.
