Chicago based six-piece rock band Whitney has just released their first single “No Woman” off their debut album, due out later this year. WIUX interviewed the band last fall when they were in Bloomington, and the band recently signed to local Bloomington label Secretly Canadian.
According to the Chicago-based band’s Facebook, their song “No Matter Where We Go” is also going to be on the album along with many of the demo’s they released earlier this year.
Whitney has been on tour this last year including dates in Europe and a show with Tops, who played at Culture shock 2015, at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall. Member’s of Whitney include Smith Western’s Max Kakacek and Julien Ehrlich of Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
