Imagine Dragons teams up with League of Legions

Do you watch the League of Legends’ World Championship Series?

That's okay, I typically don't either.

But Imagine Dragons rocked the stage at last year’s League of Legends World Championship Series in Seoul, South Korea. They helped write the opening ceremony piece “Warriors“ specifically for League of Legions. Evidently the members of Imagine Dragons are themselves quite the gamers are were excited to be able to be a part of this.

League of Legends is a multiplayer online game where individuals assume the role of different characters and battle as a team. The championship begins with sixteen teams that have been assembled from around the globe all fighting to win the League of Legends World Championship. To kick off action, according to League of Legends e-sports, they “set out to craft a war cry to rally behind in a creative collaboration with Imagine Dragons.” Earlier this week Imagine Dragons came back to prime time League of Legions to bring a special performance of their new single “Shots.”

Check out the League of Legions inspired music video for the track Imagine Dragon’s performed at the championship.

And here is the LoL e-cast recap of their performance last year along with a championship game between Winterfox and Cloud9 in this year’s championship series.
